2022 Projects

In our projects, we address issues such as inequalities, human rights, homelessness, empowerment, diversity, health, and education. The section below contains the projects that were/are being done in the club.

Sustainability Project

The Sustainability Project is an initiative aimed at influencing students of the ISC community to help economically vulnerable students of ‘Colégio Estadual Tiradentes’. Our first step was to raise awareness on our campus regarding the hardships these students go through, as well as our intentions of aiding them. Then, with the cooperation of our community, we were able to collect several donations of clothes and do a bake sale to raise money to be able to buy recreational sports items such as basketballs, volleyballs, and a volleyball net for their recreational activities. We will then buy the necessary equipments and prepare the uniforms so we can send them to the school and give them to the students in need.

WMA Project

The WAB project mainly aimed to assist mothers living in vulnerable economic conditions through donations of hygiene and baby products to the Mater Dei maternity ward. In our investigation, we found out the institution was in need of baby clothes and diapers. In order to acquire these items for the donation, we did a bake sale where we got more than 1200 reais. When donating the products directly at the institution, it was possible to see the simple reality in which those mothers live, and how relevant our initiative was to them. Moreover, we did lessons for the 9th and 10th graders about the effects of social inequalities in the lives of young mothers in Brazil.
